Veja Volley Sneakers. Inspired by Brazilian volleyball shoes from the 1970s, VEJA reissues the Volley, its first model launched in 2005. Upper: Organically treated leather (OT). Inserts: Organically treated leather (OT). Logo: Amazonian rubber (26%), mineral silica (22%), synthetic rubber (21%), and others (31%). Insole: Amazonian rubber (11%), organic EVA (42% sugarcane), recycled EVA (11%), and organic cotton (12%). Outsole: Amazonian rubber (40%), mineral silica (23%), recycled rubber (10%), synthetic rubber (11%), and others (16%). Sidestripe: Synthetic rubber (40%), mineral silica (22%), and others (38%). Lining: Recycled polyester (100%). Laces: Organic cotton (100%). OT (Organic Traced) leather comes from 100% certified organic farms in Uruguay, a country renowned for its livestock farming and the quality of its leather. It is our softest and most premium leather. It is mechanically processed to make it softer and finer, then tanned in Brazil using fewer dyes than conventional leather. VEJA uses dyes that comply with regulations and guarantees limited water use during the tanning process.
